Job summary

Sephora in Windsor is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients on their beauty journey at the Beauty Studio and beyond. You will perform makeup, waxing, and other services while staying current on trends and products.

This role emphasizes service, education, and relationship-building in a diverse, supportive team. You must hold an active state license for waxing and makeup services, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed.
• 1–3 years' experience in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented setting.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive results by achieving store goals through beauty services, client rebooking, and product sales.
• Perform beauty services including makeup and waxing per Sephora menu and educate clients on trends.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards in line with health protocols.
• Promote inclusiveness and teamwork to empower all team members.
• Uphold Sephora standards and ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive results Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform beauty services Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu. Stay informed about all beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards Keep licenses active and always uphold health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork Help promote a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered
• Uphold Sephora standards Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
