Job summary

Sephora in Arcadia, CA is hiring a Licensed Beauty Advisor for part-time hours at an hourly rate of $24.00–$27.60. You will deliver makeup and waxing services, educate clients on trends and products, and maintain licensure and hygiene standards in a fast-paced Beauty Studio.

We value inclusivity and teamwork, and expect you to be a reliable, quick learner with strong customer service, able to lift up to 50 pounds and work during peak retail periods including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role or in retail/service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques.
• Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal-oriented environment.
• Able to learn quickly and share product knowledge effectively.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive store results by achieving goals, rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products.
• Perform beauty services including makeup, waxing and other Sephora Beauty Services.
• Stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge to educate clients.
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards with health and safety protocols.
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork to create an open, empowering store culture.
