Sephora Midland is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients in makeup, waxing, and other beauty services at the Beauty Studio. The role emphasizes teaching, inspiration, and a Day-to-Day focus on customer connection while maintaining licensure and hygiene standards.

You will work to meet store goals, stay updated on products and trends, and deliver personalized service in a diverse, inclusive environment. The schedule notes shifts including peak retail hours.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and related services in the state.
• 1–3 years in a similar role or in retail, hospitality, or service.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques.
• Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive results Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform beauty services Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora’s Beauty Services menu. Stay informed about all beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards Keep licenses active and always uphold health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork Help promote a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered
• Uphold Sephora standards Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal-oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

$21.75 - $24.88/hr. The actual hourly pay offered depends on various factors, including relevant qualifications and experience; and other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position and/or geographic location.
