Job summary

Sephora Memorial City in Houston seeks a Licensed Beauty Advisor to guide clients at the Beauty Studio and beyond, delivering services, education, and a welcoming experience. You’ll perform makeup, waxing, and related services while maintaining licensure and high hygiene standards, contributing to an inclusive team and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

You will work with flexible scheduling, including peak retail hours, and stay informed on beauty trends to empower clients.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup and false lash services in the state where services are performed.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role, or in retail/hospitality/service environment.
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques.
• Proven ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, goal‑oriented environment.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance

Qualifications/Experience

• An active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are being performed
• 1-3 years' experience in a similar role or in a retail, hospitality, or service environment
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends, and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
