Job summary

Sephora Harbor East in Baltimore is seeking a Licensed Beauty Advisor for part-time hours to provide makeup, waxing, and related services at the Beauty Studio. You will guide clients through their beauty journey, educate on trends, and deliver exceptional service while adhering to health and safety protocols in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires an active license in the state, 1–3 years of relevant experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Active license to provide waxing, makeup, and false application services in the state where the services are performed
• 1–3 years in a similar role or in retail/hospitality/service environments
• Strong knowledge of beauty products, services, trends and techniques
• Demonstrated ability to deliver personalized client service and build lasting relationships
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative and goal‑oriented environment
• Quick learner with ability to absorb and share product knowledge effectively
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Key Responsibilities

• Drive results Help achieve store goals by providing and rebooking beauty services, servicing clients, and selling products
• Perform beauty services Provide makeup, waxing, and other services listed in Sephora's Beauty Services menu. Stay informed about all beauty trends and product knowledge to educate and empower clients
• Maintain licensure and uphold hygiene standards Keep licenses active and always uphold health and safety protocols
• Foster inclusiveness and teamwork Help promote a culture of openness where everyone feels empowered
• Uphold Sephora standards Follow company policies and help create a safe, secure, and enjoyable shopping experience for all

Flexible Scheduling and Reliability

• Must meet the required minimum number of weekly shifts/ hours
  • Full Time: 30-40 hrs/week
  • Part Time: 15-29 hrs/week
  • Flex (as needed): 4-14 hrs/week
• Be available during peak retail operations (nights, weekends and holidays)
• Punctuality and consistent attendance
