Job summary

Next Level Senior Living is seeking a driven Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) to lead one of our senior living communities. You will guide daily operations, build a high-performing team, and ensure an exceptional resident experience.

You will drive census growth, manage budgets, and partner with nursing to deliver outstanding care while maintaining compliance with Minnesota regulations. This is a hands-on leadership role for a visible, engaged leader.

Qualifications

• Must hold Minnesota LALD license.
• Leadership experience in senior living or healthcare.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Budget, labor, and performance metrics understanding.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of community operations
• Build, coach, and hold an engaged team accountable to high standards
• Ensure compliance with Minnesota Assisted Living regulations and company policies
• Partner with nursing and department leaders to provide exceptional resident care and service
• Drive census growth and occupancy through community involvement, relationship building, tours, and sales initiatives
• Monitor financial performance, labor, expenses, and overall community results
• Develop strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and community organizations
• Maintain a culture of accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement
• Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing team members
• Identify challenges quickly and take action to move the community forward

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Minnesota Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) license
• Senior living, assisted living, healthcare, or related leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-development skills
• Understanding of Minnesota assisted living regulations and compliance expectations
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Financial and operational mindset with the ability to understand budgets, labor, and performance metrics
• A sales and census-growth mindset with a willingness to be actively involved in growing the community
• A leader who takes ownership, follows through, and leads by example
