Job summary

Hair Cuttery Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager to lead the floor, mentor stylists, and drive profitable salon operations. You will balance behind-the-chair work with leadership duties to raise performance and guest satisfaction.

You will ensure compliance with safety standards, train new talent, and contribute to local marketing efforts to keep appointments bustling and the brand thriving.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Cosmetology license for the applying state.
• This is a full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform salon services with precision.
• Great attitude, strong communication, and basic math for inventory/cash.
• Bring personal styling tools daily.

Responsibilities

• Keep it Clean & Compliant: You’ll help ensure the salon meets all State Board and OSHA standards—because a safe salon is a successful salon.
• Marketing Pro: Help execute local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep those chairs full and the brand buzzing.

The "Must-Haves" (Requirements)

• The License: You must have a current Cosmetology license for the state where you’re applying.
• The Commitment: This is a full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• The Hustle: You’ll need the physical stamina to stand for long periods and the dexterity to perform all salon services with precision.
• The Skills: Previous leadership experience is a plus, but a great attitude, basic math skills (for inventory/cash), and stellar communication are non-negotiable.
• The Gear: Bring your personal equipment daily and be ready to rock!
