Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Cary, NC to lead the floor, support the Salon Leader, and ensure guests leave delighted while the team thrives behind the chair. You will mentor stylists, optimize scheduling, uphold safety and cleanliness, and contribute to local partnerships and campaigns that keep chairs busy and the brand buzzing.

This full-time role requires a current Cosmetology license, stamina to stand, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Cosmetology license for the state.
• Full-time leadership role (40 hours per week).
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform all salon services with precision.
• Leadership experience is a plus; strong attitude, basic math for inventory/cash, and stellar communication are non-negotiable.
• Bring your personal equipment daily and be ready to rock!

• Keep it Clean & Compliant: You’ll help ensure the salon meets all State Board and OSHA standards—because a safe salon is a successful salon.
• Marketing Pro: Help execute local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep those chairs full and the brand buzzing.

The "Must-Haves" (Requirements):

• The License: You must have a current Cosmetology license for the state where you’re applying.
• The Commitment: This is a full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
