Job summary

Hawaii Off‑Grid, an Architecture and Engineering firm in Haiku, is seeking a talented designer to join our Design Team. We focus on sustainability, net-zero and unique solutions for our community. Ideal candidate holds an architecture degree, 5–7 years of office experience, and is available full-time in person.

ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Rhino, and 3D modeling skills are preferred. We offer salary between $80K and $95K, 90-day probation, holidays and PTO, retirement plan, health benefits, licensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or professional degree in Architecture.
• 5 to 7 years of professional office experience.
• Full-time, in-person position; relocation to US required.
• Experience with ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Rhino, and 3D modeling.
• Proficiency in Monday, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Dropbox.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Principal, Operations Team, Project Architects and Design Team on diverse projects.
• Grow with opportunities across varying project needs and client requirements.
• Leverage a full operations team for project management and assignment support.

Job Requirements

• An Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Architecture
• 5 to 7 years of experience working in a professional office setting
• Full‑Time (40 hours/week) and in person position. This is not a remote position. If you are not willing to relocate or not in the US, please do not apply.
• Experience or proficiency in ArchiCAD is preferred as well as AutoCAD, Rhino, and 3D Modeling.
• Efficiency in our Project Management Software – Monday, Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Dropbox.

What we offer

• Full‑Time Position
• Salary will be depend on experience but will range between $80K-95K
• 90‑Day Training/Probation period
• 13 Paid Holidays a year / 12 PTO days a year

You’ll be working closely with our Principal, Operations Team, Project Architects, and our Design Team on a variety of projects. Our firm is diversified in the type of jobs we take on so there’s plenty of opportunity to gain experience and exposure to job specific needs. In addition, we have a full operations team that will be available for support in management and assigning projects.

Hawaii Off‑Grid is always growing so there will be ample opportunity to grow with our company. That being said, responsibilities may grow over time in which you’ll be compensated accordingly.
