Job summary

The Austin Company seeks an experienced Architect to lead the architectural design and oversight of major projects. You will ensure construction documents align with the contract scope and coordinate across disciplines to maintain schedules.

With a requisite BS/BA in Architecture and professional registration, you will plan and supervise design activities, handle complex design challenges, and stay updated on evolving construction methods within a leading design, engineering, and construction

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Architecture and typically 8–11 years, drafting/design and related experience.
Professional registration is required.

Responsibilities

Ensures all construction documents conform to the contractual scope of work and implements changes in scope in a timely manner to maintain the schedule.
Interprets, organizes, executing, and coordinates architectural design assignments involving unique or controversial problems which significantly affect major projects.
Plans, organizes, and supervises architectural design activities for a major project – project or lead Architect.
Keeps up to date with new developments in design and construction methods.
