Qualifications

  • Active architectural registration in NY or NJ required.

  • 5+ years in architecture and project delivery, prefer multifamily/residential.
  • Experience coordinating consultants across design, docs, approvals, construction.
  • Proficient with Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam; flexible platform use.
  • Strong communication with owners, designers, consultants, contractors and field teams.
  • Professional architecture degree or licensure pathway for NY/NJ licensure.
  • Collaborative, self-directed work style with solution-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural direction across development lifecycle from feasibility to completion.
  • Evaluate opportunities via zoning research, planning, test fits and code review.
  • Direct internal and external architectural resources; set expectations for design quality and schedules.
  • Review, sign and seal submissions as required by jurisdiction.
  • Guide permitting and approvals across NYC metro area with agency coordination.
  • Balance design goals with project economics; review costs and constructability.
  • Support preconstruction and procurement; define trade scopes and vendor clarifications.
  • Provide architectural leadership during construction; manage RFIs, submittals and field reviews.
  • Partner with ownership and construction leadership to move projects forward autonomously.
