Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Covington, LA seeks a qualified clinician to provide comprehensive addiction treatment across detox, residential, PHP, IOP and outpatient services. You will deliver individualized, evidence-based plans and conduct multiple therapy modalities for a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
Active state licensure (LPC, LAC or CIT) to practice in this role is required.
Excellent observational and interpersonal abilities with strong ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for each client.
Conduct individual, group, family and couples therapy sessions.
Oversee clinical needs, services and aftercare for the caseload.
Prevent, intervene and de-escalate in crisis situations.
Maintain impeccable documentation of client challenges, progress and relapse risk.
Collaborate with Clinical Director and treatment team for coordinated care.
Model ethics, dignity and recovery principles in all interactions.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Valid state licensure / certification necessary to practice in this role: LPC, LAC or CIT
Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

What You'll Do
