Job summary

YAI, a network of agencies serving people with intellectual and development disabilities, seeks a NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver bedside medical support and participate in care planning.

The role emphasizes clinical oversight, assessment, and collaboration with care teams. Schedule is Mon–Fri, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NYS LPN license.
• Med/Surg experience preferred.
• Experience with intellectually and developmentally disabled population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing medical insight.
• Participate in assessment, planning, and implementation of medical care.
• Provide oversight and training of direct care staff in monitoring medical systems.
• Participate in team meetings and provide medically related in-services to program staff.

• Salary is up to 55000 USD annually
