Job summary

Chapel Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our Maryland long-term care facility. You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and collaborate with families and staff to provide high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland LNHA license, with skilled nursing experience, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of governing regulations.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day facility operations ensuring quality care.
• Manage facility staff including-hiring, training, and evaluation; schedule.
• Control finances, design budgets, manage billing and reimbursement, monitor payroll.
• Update processes to comply with federal/state regulations and protect resident data.
• Interface with residents, families, and staff; represent facility in community activities.
• Interpret resident needs and collaborate with families.

Responsibilities of the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA):

• Directs the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern nursing facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times.
• Manage a long-term care facility’s staff—from hiring, training, and evaluation, to scheduling.
• Control the facility’s finances and design budgets, manage billing and reimbursement, monitor payroll, and report to board-level governance.
• Update processes to comply with federal and state regulations in the delivery of care, in the safety of the building, and in the security of patient data.
• Interface with residents, families, and staff.
• Represent the facility in professional and community activities.
• Interpret resident needs and collaborate with families.

Qualifications for the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA):

• Current Nursing Home Administrator’s license (Maryland)
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility (Preferred)
• Excellent leadership skills
