Job summary

Equum Medical in the United States is seeking a Credentialing Coordinator to ensure accurate provider credentialing data and support our growing telehealth network. You will coordinate licensing, maintain databases, and deliver timely credentialing services to hospitals and health systems.

The role requires 5+ years in credentialing, proficiency with Modio Health or similar software, Excel, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in credentialing and provider data management.
• Strong knowledge of licensing/credentialing processes and regulations.
• Proficient with Excel and data reporting (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates licensing and credentialing for all Equum contracted providers in line with laws.
• Manages Modio licensing and credentialing database and modules; ensures data accuracy and reporting.
• Manages electronic credentials application and distribution to health system clients.
• Monitors turnaround times for credentialing processing and improves efficiency.
• Provides on-site consultations on credentialing practices and updates on policies.
• Prepares for and coordinates credentialing audits as needed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

The individual ensures that accurate data needed for credentialing is obtained, maintained and current for all providers.An adaptable, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset is imperative to succeeding in this role. As an early stage and high growth organization, this role will be critical in supporting our providers and hospital partners to better enable patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the licensing & credentialing process for all Equum contracted providers, in accordance with company standards, Federal and State laws.
• Coordinates the management of the Modio licensing & credentialing database and associated modules, ensuring accuracy of data and reporting to downstream systems. Monitors critical data for extensive analysis and report generation.
• Coordinates the management of the electronic credentials application, to ensure distribution, receipt, processing, and timely delivery to health system clients.
• Monitors and reports turnaround times for processing of credentials applications, with continued focus on delivery of a high-quality product, with the greatest efficiency, in the least amount of time.
• Provides on-site consultations across Equum Medical with regards to credentialing practices and services; prepares and conducts credentialing orientations and provides updates as appropriate on new policies and procedures.
• Prepares for and coordinates credentialing audits as needed.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of Modio Health credentialing software or similar software and ability to become lead user quickly.
• Knowledge of Excel
• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
• Ability to investigate and analyze information and draw conclusions.
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
• Ability to process computer data and to format and generate reports, particularly using Pivot Tables, VLookup and other basic Excel reporting functions.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
• Skill in developing policy and procedure documentation.
• Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements.
• Knowledge of medical credentialing and privileging procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of medical staff policies, regulations, and the legal environment within which they operate.

Education/Experience:

• 5+ years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus, 401k, continuing education, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors, including type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
