Job summary

California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) in Imperial County is seeking a Library Technical Assistant (Safety) for a 12-month limited-term, full-time assignment. This position requires preparing for eligibility via the Library Technical Assistant Exam and may involve limited up to 24 months extension or permanent status depending on funding.

This classification offers a retention bonus. Employees who are employed at Calipatria State Prison for 12 consecutive, qualifying pay periods, will receive an annual $2,600 recruitment and retention bonus.
