Job Summary

The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Libraries department on the Gainesville campus. The UNG Gainesville Campus Library seeks focused, dedicated students eligible for employment during the 2025-2026 school year. These individuals must be flexible, dependable and able to work a set schedule. This position requires evening and may require weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Library student assistants are responsible for providing customer service assistance to UNG Libraries patrons and clerical and project support to library staff and faculty.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Excellent customer service skills, willingness to learn and work in a team environment and detail oriented.

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous library experience--paid or volunteer is a plus.
