Job summary

The Library Media Specialist at King-Center-Charter-School will cultivate, maintain and catalogue print and electronic content and support grade-level curriculum in alignment with NYS and ISTE standards. The LMS will teach K-8 courses and collaborate with teachers to promote research skills and literacy.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in English, Literature or related area, with appreciation and knowledge of diversity and literature of World Cultures
• NYS Certification in Elementary Education or Library Media Specialist
• Minimum 1 year experience in urban school setting
• Proven ability to create in a warm and welcoming environment
• Demonstrated electronic research skills
