Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a Para - Media II to support library services in a Lakeland area school. The role includes circulating books, guiding students to resources, and assisting teachers with subscriptions and reading programs.

You will manage the library budget with staff, organize book fairs, collect money, and help inventory at year-end while supervising students and using technology to aid instruction.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited high school or completion of GED.
• 60+ credit hours or an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited school.
• Passing score on the Para Pro exam.
• Bilingual/biliterate preferred to assist diverse students and families.

Responsibilities

• Circulation of library books and providing access to students.
• Assist teachers in identifying resources and sharing information about subscriptions.
• Support Accelerated Reader and school-wide reading programs.
• Manage library media budget with support; organize book fairs and collect related monies.
