Fort Bend County is seeking a Part-time Library Assistant in Youth Services at First Colony to support the library’s reference desks and youth programs.
You will assist patrons with computers, access the catalog and databases, help with children’s programming, shelf-reading, and processing books and AV materials as needed.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and 48 college credits; strong communication skills and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Requires high school diploma and 48 credit hours of college, relevant experience working with children in groups preferred; typing and keyboarding skills; computer skills involving use of the internet and database searching; good communication skills and ability to interact easily with staff and public; ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift library materials up to 25 pounds.
Part‑Time $15.30 per hour, 24 hours per week.
