Responsibilities:

• Maintain the organization and accessibility of library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
• Assist patrons with locating books and other resources, as well as providing information on library services
• Handle circulation tasks including checking out/returning materials, issuing library cards, and collecting fines
• Process new materials into the library's system and ensure accurate record keeping
• Plan and conduct library programs such as book clubs, storytime sessions, or workshops
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement policies and procedures for effective library operations
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to provide innovative services to patrons

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a library setting
• Proficient in using library management systems (e.g. Dewey Decimal System)
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service focus

Salary:
