Job summary

CTS International seeks Consultant Level 6 Liaison Engineers to support operations in Portland, OR or Renton, Auburn & Frederickson WA. The role involves hands-on engineering on the factory floor, tight collaboration with production personnel, and acting as the engineering representative from build to post-production.

The position is fully onsite, with 12+ months duration and possible extension, requiring shifts, overtime, and travel between Puget Sound sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• 20+ years of experience in structures, systems, design or production engineering.
• Current or prior MRB authority, with BCA MRB within last 2 years.
• Hands-on engineering experience on factory floor and in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze root causes and disposition production non-conformances.
• Apply Boeing design principles to resolve issues across the product lifecycle.
• Research technical, operational and quality issues to support final engineering solutions.
• Communicate deviations impacting design intent and safety; manage resolutions.
• Develop and implement product/process improvements; support IPTs and design reviews.
• Represent engineering from initial build through production and post-production.

Education

ABET accredited Engineering degree

20+ years experience in structures, systems, design or production engineering

MRB Authority

BCA MRB within last 2 years

Hands-on engineering in factory environment
