Organizational Context and Scope

Under the overall guidance of the Head of the Network Secretariat in Geneva and the Director of the IOM-UN Liaison Office and the direct supervision of the Senior Migration Network Policy Officer (UNMNS) in New York, the Liaison and Policy Officer will be responsible and accountable for providing policy, analytical and liaison support to the Network Secretariat's engagement in New York, including activities related to the follow-up and review of Global Compact for Migration (GCM), in close coordination with colleagues in the UN Network on Migration Secretariat in Geneva.
