Job summary

Sedgwick seeks an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to analyze GL, Property & Product Liability claims for clients nationwide. You will determine benefits due, adjudicate claims, and maintain service expectations across diverse industries.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a bachelor’s degree preferred, and 4 years of claims management experience. NY or HI licenses are required. Sedgwick offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to an appropriate resolution; investigate and gather information to determine exposure.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions professionally and timely.
