Qualifications

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance.
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience preferred.
• State Inspection certification required.
• WiTech Certification Preferred; ASE Certification recommended.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
• Computer skills and fast-paced environment adaptability.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on the repair order with efficiency per dealership processes.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems (engine, electrical, suspension, brakes, a/c).
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and estimates.

Lia CJDR Northampton is seeking a Level B and Level C Automotive Technician to join our team. Lia service departments are equipped with the latest technologies & equipment including service drive alignment checker, alignment rack, and Hunter tire mounting and balancing machines. Sign on bonus may be available based on skill level and experience.

COMPENSATION RANGE: $40K-$55K

SIGN ON BONUS: Available up to $2500 based on experience, certifications & qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Experience performing preventative and light duty maintenance
• Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair experience preferred
• State Inspection certification required
• WiTech Certification Preferred
• ASE Certification recommended
• Ability to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures and specifications

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed, providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs.
