Job summary

Sheppard Pratt seeks a Licensure-eligible LGPC/LCSW-C/LMSW/L CPC to provide school-based mental health services in Prince George’s County. The role includes individual, family, and group counseling, with treatment planning and community resource coordination.

You will collaborate with schools, families, and social service partners to reduce barriers to care while supporting student well-being and development.

Qualifications

• Must possess Maryland licenses: LMSW, LCSW-C, LGPC or LCPC at time of hire.
• Experience in school-based mental health settings is preferred.
• Ability to work within Prince George’s County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling to students and families.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.
• Collaborate with school system and families to access community resources.
• Coordinate with local social service agencies as needed.
