The Boeing Company is looking for participants to join the LGO/Tauber Leadership Development Program. You will rotate across multiple US sites to gain a systems view of Boeing and lead teams on diverse projects, developing senior operations executives and solid cross-functional relationships.

Ideal candidates are MIT LGO/Tauber alumni or current enrollees with at least one year of leadership experience or completion of Boeing's Exploring Leadership course, plus a track record of collaboration

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of the Leaders for Global Operations Graduate Degree Program at MIT.
  • At least one year of leadership experience (team leader, temp manager, large cross-functional project) OR completed Boeing's 'Exploring Leadership' course.
  • Experience with global operations, collaboration across functions, and building partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate positions every 12-18 months.
  • Develop and execute projects, implement policies and set operational goals.
  • Acquire resources for projects, manage suppliers and lead process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
  • Provide oversight and approve technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Lead and develop the teams you are responsible for.

LGO/Tauber Leadership Development Program - Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Company: The Boeing Company is currently seeking participants to join the LGO/Tauber (Leaders for Global Operations/Tauber Institute for Global Operations) Leadership Development Program. Become part of an industry-leading program that attracts top talent and develops senior operations executives who lead and promote excellence across the Boeing Product Lifecycle! This unique program spans across various US-based Boeing sites. Selected candidates will be placed at one of the following site locations for their first assignment: Seattle, WA; Auburn, WA; Renton, WA; Everett, WA; Cambridge, MA; North Charleston, SC; Chicago, IL; Dallas, TX; Plano, TX; San Antonio, TX; El Segundo, CA; Huntington Beach, CA; Long Beach, CA; Seal Beach, CA; Hazelwood, MO; Hendon, VA; Arlington, VA; Huntsville, AL; Kennedy Space Center, FL; Titusville, FL; Mesa, AZ; Oklahoma City, OK or Ridley Park, PA.

Position Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in, or a graduate of the Leaders for Global Operations Graduate Degree Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting business operations (or a similar position) for a global organization
  • Experience collaborating across functions and organizational levels
  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Experience in a role that required excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to constantly evolving priorities

Pay & Benefits
