Job summary

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) seeks an Air Quality Project Consultant/Engineer in Naperville, IL to assist clients in the waste management industry, preparing permit applications and analyzing landfill gas and air monitoring systems.

Office and field work may be involved. Under project managers and senior staff, you will contribute to LFG design, CQA activities, and reporting, with opportunities to grow toward professional licensure.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• E.I.T with ability to obtain PE license within 4 years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD/Civil 3D software.
• Strong communication and writing skills are essential.
• This role may involve both office and field work.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in the waste management industry.
• Prepare permit applications and analyses for landfill gas and air monitoring systems.
• Perform field services and Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) related to landfills and waste facilities.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor for construction projects as needed.
• Produce professional reports and correspondence.
