Job summary

KKR is seeking a Leveraged Credit Closer in Boston to support the Credit Trading desk, KCM, CLO business, and Private Credit Operations. The role focuses on end-to-end closing, settlement, and accurate recording of leveraged loan trades, in collaboration with Trading, Treasury, Legal, and Asset Maintenance teams.

Qualified candidates will have 4–6 years in leveraged credit / syndicated loan closing, with hands-on ClearPar experience and strong knowledge of LSTA conventions.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of leveraged credit / syndicated loan closing experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the LSTA trade documentation and settlement process.
• Hands-on experience with ClearPar.
• Ability to interpret provisions within credit agreements and loan documentation.
• Experience with loan funding mechanics and cash movements.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end closing and settlement of leveraged loan trades per LSTA conventions.
• Handle high-volume closing pipeline prioritizing settlement dates and counterparty requirements.
• Navigate loan closing workflows in ClearPar, including trade matching and funding memo review.
• Coordinate with agent banks, Trading, Legal, and Treasury to resolve documentation and settlement issues.
• Review delayed compensation and cost-of-carry calculations and escalate discrepancies.
• Ensure trades are reflected accurately across internal systems.
• Identify and implement process improvements with the Global Investment Operations team.
