Job summary

Rabobank Group in the United States is seeking a Summer Intern – Leveraged Lending to join our New York team. You will assist with underwriting support, financial modeling, and client deal execution while learning how leveraged financing opportunities are evaluated, structured, approved and closed.

You will work with Analysts, Associates, and senior bankers, gaining hands-on exposure to valuation, risk assessment, and market research, plus mentorship and development opportunities during a paid

Qualifications

• Currently a junior pursuing undergrad, ideally entering senior year, in finance or related field.
• Strong academic performance and familiarity with finance.
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Support the underwriting, approval, and closing of leveraged lending transactions.
• Build and review financial models to evaluate performance, structure, and repayment capacity.
• Research companies, industries, and market trends to support credit and business development analysis.
• Assist with risk assessment, valuation, and preparation of transaction materials.

It is anticipated that the position will pay within the target hiring range.
