Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics seeks a DevOps Developer in Akron to design and implement automated deployment, testing and monitoring systems. You will collaborate with developers, sysadmins and IT pros to streamline delivery of reliable software products.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, a BS in CS or related field, strong Linux scripting, and hands-on work with AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins and Ansible. This is a contract role with visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Developer to join our team in Akron As a DevOps Developer you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated systems to streamline our software development process Your role will involve collaborating with developers system administrators and other IT professionals to ensure efficient delivery of high-quality software products The ideal candidate should have experience with cloud computing containerization and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible This is a contract job with a salary of $1800 per month and visa sponsorship is available for qualified candidates Accommodation is not provided but we welcome all levels of experience

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated systems for software deployment testing and monitoring
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate continuous integrationcontinuous delivery CICD processes into their workflows
• Utilize cloud computing technologies such as AWS or Azure to support scalable and reliable infrastructure
• Use containerization tools such as Docker to package applications into containers
• Implement configuration management tools such as Ansible for managing infrastructure as code
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues when necessary
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in DevOps practices

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of LinuxUnix operating systems and scripting languages Bash Python
• Experience with cloud computing platforms AWS Azure
• Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience implementing CICD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills
