Job summary

National Inspection & Consultants (NIC)/an Element Company in Newport News, Virginia is seeking experienced Level III Phased Array UT Inspectors for a long-term contract to support a naval shipyard and heavy marine fabrication operations. This role emphasizes advanced ultrasonic testing of large structural components and welds, with NAVSEA involvement.

The position requires U.S. citizenship and ITAR compliance, offering a 40-hour guarantee, heavy overtime, and a completion bonus in a long-term

Qualifications

• Experienced Level III Phased Array UT Inspector.
• Perform advanced ultrasonic examinations on heavy structural components, piping, welds and other critical parts.
• U.S. citizenship required; ITAR requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PAUT and other ultrasonic inspections at the naval shipyard and marine fabrication sites.
• Collaborate with NAVSEA and shipyard teams to ensure compliance and quality.
• Document findings and support non-destructive evaluation programs.
