Baptist Health System - San Antonio TX is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist Level III for a position in San Antonio, Texas. The role requires performing radiographic procedures with strict radiation safety standards and completing required competencies during the introductory period.

Minimum education is graduation from an accredited radiology program, with 3+ years hospital experience and ARRT certification. BLS is required by hire, with AHA BLS to be completed within 60 days.

• Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures experience preferred.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.

Position Summary

The Intervention Radiology Tech II is responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards. Completes established

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of radiology
PREFERRED EDUCATION: NA
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 3 or more years hospital experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Cardiac Cath Lab or Special Procedures
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State registration and ARRT
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Certification in Specialty
REQUIRED COURSES/ COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire
