Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking a Nondestructive Examination (NDE) - Level II Radiographer in Dickinson or Watford City, North Dakota, with consideration for Minot, ND. The role covers radiographic, UT, MT, PT, and LI inspections on diverse field and lab projects.

Ideal candidates have Level II NDT certifications, rigorous safety and quality focus, and willingness to travel to out-of-town assignments. Competitive pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Recent experience performing radiographic inspections.
• Experience with magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and visual inspections preferred.
• Level II NDT certifications and ability to pass Braun Intertec Level II test for RT.
• Level II MT, PT, UT certifications preferred.
• Must meet ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirements for experience and education.
• IRRSP card for industrial radiography.
• 80 hours RT classroom training.
• 40 hour radiation safety training.
• TWIC badge a plus.
• High School Diploma preferred; post-secondary education in NDT or related field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform Ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects
• Works independently as crew lead on job sites
• Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures
• Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner
• Understands and utilizes safe work practices

Required Skills & Experience

• Recent experience performing radiographic inspections.
• magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic and visual inspections in addition strongly preferred
• Level II NDT certifications and the ability to pass the Braun Intertec Level II test for RT.
• Level II MT, PT, UT certifications in addition, preferred.
• Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education
• IRRSP card for industrial radiography
• 80 hours of RT classroom training
• 40 hour radiation safety training
• TWIC badge a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred, post high school education in nondestructive testing or related field strongly preferred.
• Experienced with NDT methods and procedures
• Must have a valid, insurable driver's license and be willing to travel
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check and motor vehicle record check
