Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support Defensive Systems contracts, including EKV, NGI and RKV. You will partner with PMs, CAMs, IPT leads, and supply chain to provide financial insights and robust program controls.

You will prepare variance analyses, support EAC development, maintain logs, and drive monthly/weekly program reporting. A secret clearance may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Professional experience in a related finance role
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract

Responsibilities

• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and variance analysis.
• Support quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC) development and analysis versus Latest Revised Estimates (LRE).
• Maintain program logs including charging guidance and risks & opportunities.
• Execute program control actions including baseline change requests (BCRs), EVMS analysis, and program cost/schedule integration.
• Assist in development and delivery of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) including IPMDAR and CFSR.
• Prepare weekly and monthly program reports and support internal/external program reviews.
• Utilize program control tools such as SAP/APEX, BW, Analysis for Office (A/O), forProject, and PMX Tool Suite.
• Provide timely support for ad hoc financial and data reporting requests.
• Collaborate with program office, engineering, supply chain, and leadership to support execution of programs with significant scope.
• Support monthly forecast/close processes and maintain Rplan forecasts.
• Partner with Program Management and Planning on Earned Value implementation.
• Communicate financial guidance effectively across multiple levels of the organization.

The Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) Strike Initiatives Business Office is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support Defensive Systems contracts, including the Exo‑Atmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV), the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) and the Redesigned Kill Vehicle (RKV). The NGI and RKV programs are in termination and EKV has renewed activity that will provide continued work for years to come.

You will partner with Program Managers, Control Account Managers (CAMs), IPT Leads, Supply Chain, Engineering, and key functional leaders to provide financial insights and rigorous program controls. Finance serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, guidance, and actionable recommendations to enable strategic decision‑making and strong financial performance.

A Secret clearance may be required at a future time.

What You Will Do

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Experience with Microsoft office
• Professional experience in a related finance role

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
