Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes RF/microwave components and subsystems in a global footprint. The Visual Inspector role focuses on inspecting components, assemblies and raw materials using microscope equipment and XRF testing, ensuring strict quality standards are met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical School Diploma a strong plus.
• One or more years’ prior manufacturing or production experience is a strong plus.
• Prior inspection or manufacturing experience a strong plus.
• Soldering and welding experience a strong plus.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate perfectly in English.
• Ability to read assembly & mechanical drawings.
• Ability to use tools such as a microscope and magnifying lamp.
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to enter data results into our AS400 computer system.
• An individual that is capable and enjoys functioning in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Ability to be cross-trained on other skills requiring manual dexterity and precision.
• Must pay attention to details.
• Must be focused on quality.

Responsabilidades

• Read assembly & mechanical drawings to determine specific requirements.
• Perform visual inspection of various items under a microscope or magnifying lamp (such as PC boards, switches, cores, connectors, resistors, chip capacitors, enclosures and covers, cables, amplifiers, machined parts & packaging materials, etc.) as per assembly drawings and specific criteria under supervision using a microscope and magnifying lamp.
• Perform simple tests such as resistance to solvents, DC continuity, and material composition using an XRF machine.
• Identify and segregate defective units/materials.
• Document inspection results in the computer.
• Will be cross-trained on soldering, welding, scanning and administrative work such as preparation of rejection reports and filing.

Mini-Circuits designs, manufactures and distributes integrated circuits, modules, and sub-systems for high-performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. Position Summary:

To visually inspect a large volume of items such as electrical components & products, raw materials, packaging materials and other items as needed for manufacturing.

Salary

Range: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Job Functions:

• Read assembly & mechanical drawings to determine specific requirements.
