Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Commerce, CA is seeking an Inventory Material Control Support Level 2 for first shift. You will compile records on material received, in stock, or issued and prepare inventory reports while confirming accuracy of shipments.

Responsibilities include kits per BOM, bills of lading, ERP transactions, relocation entries, packing slip interpretation, and data entry. Must have 1–2 years shipping/inventory experience and a valid CA driver's license; forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years shipping, receiving, and/or inventory experience.
• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Costpoint, or similar enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain Forklift certification.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs as required.

Responsibilities

• Kits parts per Bill of Materials.
• Completes bills of lading using major freight carriers.
• Performs inventory transactions within ERP system.
• Ensures electronic relocation transactions are completed in ERP system when physical movements occur.
• Interprets packing slips, accurately enters information into the computer, and acknowledges receipt of goods in the PO database.
• Knowledge of stock counts and investigates discrepancies.
