Job summary

Vandergriff Technologies NDT Services is a NADCAP and FAA accredited lab, servicing the Fort Worth area for over 30 years. Most jobs are in house, with the possibility of short term/ minor travel. We train and certify our techs in all methods.

Our lab covers petrochemical, industrial, and aerospace fields. We have automated systems as well as hand held applications. We are looking for self-motivated professionals with a desire to grow and advance in a team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience with references.
• Evidence of on-the-job hours as per NAS 410.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely.
• TX state RT card is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Physical duties include lifting up to 50lbs, standing, moving parts and packaging parts.
• Work with computed radiography and film processing in petrochemical, industrial, and aerospace projects.
• Train and certify technicians in all NDT methods as needed.

We train and certify our techs in all methods. Our lab covers petrochemical, industrial, and aerospace fields. We have automated systems as well as hand held applications. We are looking for self-motivated professionals with a desire to grow and advance in a team atmosphere. We are a passionate lab looking to make a long term commitment to the right individual. Work week is 40 hours Monday thru Friday with little overtime.

Physical duties will include: lifting up to 50lbs, standing while working, moving parts, packaging parts, working outside/ inside in the elements including hot and cold, Repeated motions of processing parts, lifting parts in and out of their machines/packaging, Checking in parts and duties as assigned.

Skills

Looking for a well rounded tech with qualifications or experience in one or all of the following:

• UT2, MT2, PT2, RT2, (Computed radiography and film)
• minimum 2 years experience with references.
• Must have evidence of OJT hours as per NAS 410.
• Prefer a well rounded tech in all methods, but not required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs safely.
• Attention to detail and follows procedures safely and effectively.
