As a Level 1 Assistant Manager, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a high-performing, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in overseeing daily store operations and ensure smooth functioning
- Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and key performance indicators
- Help manage and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service
- Participate in inventory management and stock control processes
- Contribute to creating and maintaining a positive work environment
- Assist in training and developing new team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently
- Support promotional activities and visual merchandising efforts
- Assist in scheduling and workforce management

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Previous retail experience (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position
- Walking: for short distances for short durations
- Sitting: paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck
- Carrying: large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves
- Pushing: to move trays which are placed on dollies
- Climbing: team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance
- Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station
- Crouching/Squatting: performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas
- Reaching: reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward
- Driving: deliver pizzas within a designated delivery area
- Hand Tasks: eye-hand coordination is essential, use of hands is continuous during the day
Driving Specific Job Duties:
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and door hangers
Requires:
- Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
