Job summary

St Jude Children's Research Hospital is offering a unique one-year fellowship in their Leukemia/Lymphoma Division for pediatric hematology/oncology physicians. Fellows will enhance clinical skills while working alongside leaders in the field, gaining valuable research and clinical experience in managing hematologic malignancies.

Job description

The St. Jude Leukemia/Lymphoma Division offers a unique one‑year fellowship program for pediatric hematology/oncology physicians. Fellows will work with leaders in the field to hone clinical skills and gain research experience in the treatment of hematologic malignancies.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance clinical expertise in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of hematologic malignancies in infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.
  • Develop and enhance the multidisciplinary approach for management of children with diverse types of hematologic malignancies.
  • Apply knowledge from basic laboratory and clinical research to better understand mechanisms of pathogenesis, treatment, and recurrence in pediatric hematologic malignancies.
  • Participate in case conferences, lectures, and disease‑oriented team meetings to deepen knowledge of specific hematologic malignancies.
Eligibility

Candidates must be eligible or certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric hematology/oncology, or have received equivalent training as judged by the program directors.
