LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking a licensed optician to deliver legendary customer service and precisely fit eyewear. You will take measurements, place prescriptions, and advise on product choices while maintaining brand standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Licensed Optician delivers the brand value proposition and helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community. Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
• Act as a leader in optical acumen
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
• Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions
• Use technology accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools
• Be proactive, explore root causes of issues, be forward‑thinking, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations exceeded; be solution‑driven
• Multi‑task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
• Take pride in store appearance and help keep the store clean, attractive and organized
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement and results
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions and inventory management

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent
• State licensure
• Optical dispensing experience
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder
• Knowledge of current store merchandise
• Strong basic math skills
• Awareness of current fashion trends
• Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet
• Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators
• Embrace new technology and change

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service and retail experience
