Job summary

IDEX Health & Science LLC. in West Henrietta, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician – Coatings to support production and engineering in sustaining and optimizing coating processes.

You will develop, document, and improve manufacturing instructions, troubleshoot chamber issues, and train staff on new equipment. The role emphasizes process development, KPI tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to reduce downtime and improve quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Technical Associate Degree.
• Minimum of 8 years working with vacuum chambers.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience documenting Manufacturing Processes and training production staff.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering on process development and production concerns.
• Understand failure modes and assist in troubleshooting chamber issues to resolve downtime.
• Assist in expediting work orders through the area and deliver status updates as required.
• Ensure timely movement of parts on/off Manufacturing Hold while working with IQA.
• Evaluate optical measurements and make process adjustments.
• Write, develop, and update work instructions as required.
