Job summary

Visionworks of America in Texas is seeking a Fabrication Associate to verify lens options, apply tint and color, insert lenses into frames using hand tools, and perform a quick cosmetic check. This role supports the assembly area and maintains equipment.

The position requires High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Work hours include nights, weekends, and holidays in a moderate noise environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• One (1) to three (3) years of related manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly insert/secure lenses and visually align small eyeglass screws.
• Adjust frames (heat/cool) and complete 4-point alignment.
• Understand the validation and documentation process for Z87 safety eyewear.
• Apply lens treatments as requested.
• Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and overall facility.
• Practice and comply with all requirements of our Quality Management System (QMS), as well as regulations promoting a safe and healthy workplace environment.
