Job summary

Itape is seeking a Converting Operator to operate converting equipment and support the production line. You will set up Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000 and Sheeter, troubleshoot, and ensure orders meet schedule and specs with quality checks. A high school diploma is required, plus basic math and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Temperature can exceed 95°F, no travel required. Join a hands-on team in a manufacturing environment focused on safety, efficiency, and accuracy

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multiple converting machinery: Band Saw, Perforator, Sealer 2000, Sheeter.
• Troubleshoot machinery and adjust as needed.
• Produce orders to schedule and specification.
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment.
• Label finished goods and palletize as necessary.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety such as PPE usage.

Principle Accountabilities

• Set up and operator multiple converting machinery
  1. Band Saw
  2. Perforator
  3. Sealer 2000
  4. Sheeter
• Troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments as needed
• Produce orders to schedule and specification
• Prepare goods for shipping using various equipment
• Label finished goods, place on pallets as necessary
• Perform quality control checks
• Ability to read tape measure
• Must be detailed oriented and have a sense of urgency
• Use PPE as required
• Maintain good housekeeping
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience is helpful.
• No travel required
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must have basic math skills.
