Job summary

Bricks & Minifigs South Seattle in Seattle, WA, seeks a proactive Lead Sales Associate (Keyholder) to support daily store operations, lead shifts, and deliver exceptional service to LEGO fans of all ages. This role requires 2+ years in retail or similar, experience with cash handling and POS systems, and a passion for LEGO themes.

You will mentor staff, help expand social media content, and contribute to a welcoming, community-focused store environment.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail, customer service, or shift lead experience.
Experience with cash handling and POS systems.
Prior knowledge of LEGO products, themes, and minifigures is strongly preferred.
Ability to manage shift tasks, multitask effectively, and take initiative without supervision.
Comfortable engaging warmly with both children and adult collectors (AFOLs).

Responsibilities

Act as shift leader and keyholder, opening/closing procedures and nightly reconciliations.
Guide Sales Associates on shift to ensure excellent customer service and brand consistency.
Perform buy/sell/trade evaluations for LEGO sets, minifigures, and bulk collections using store guidelines.
Oversee POS operations and cash transactions.
Assist in inventory, pricing, and visual merchandising.
Help facilitate in-store events and community activities.
Create photos, short videos, and engaging content for store social media channels.
Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and safety standards.
