Ameren Missouri is seeking a Legislative Representative to cultivate favorable stakeholder and legislative relations through direct outreach, reporting, and messaging to support policy efforts.

The role involves maintaining relationships with utilities and lobbyists, collaborating with the State Government Relations team, tracking legislation, presenting to senior leadership, and representing Ameren Missouri at community events.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required.
• Five or more years of lobbying, communications or related experience required.
• Experience with utility customers and generation/transmission preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and negotiate difficult issues.
• Knowledge of the Missouri General Assembly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Maintain relationships with utility stakeholder representatives and corporate lobbyists to build coalitions.
• Collaborate with the Manager of State Government Relations to implement policy strategy.
• Track legislation and hearings daily and report progress to audiences.
• Present policy issues and strategy to senior leadership.
• Represent Ameren Missouri at community outreach events.
• Coordinate with internal teams to engage stakeholders and align them with company positions.
