Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years of legislative or lobbying experience.
Knowledge of Oregon state government emphasizing the legislative and judicial system.
Ability to type 40 WPM with accuracy.
Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training may be substituted.
Responsibilities
Develops and administers the Law Improvement Program.
Conducts lobbying and advocacy during the legislative session.
Assists with developing internal Public Affairs policies.
Analyzes policy options and identifies political problems.
Coordinates the dissemination of issue information within the bar.
Supports public policy development and lobby activities.
