Aufgaben

• Carry out the functions of the Office of Council Services for the County Council, its committees, and the Councilmembers in their legislative responsibilities.
• Review and analyze laws, opinions, bills, resolutions, budget documents, contracts, and other documents to provide legal advice.
• Draft legislation and other documents necessary for the legislative process.
• Monitor developments in municipal law.
• Perform a variety of legal and policy research for the Office of Council Services.
• Staff committee meetings.
• Adept at the use of Microsoft Word and other relevant software.
• Occasionally attend night meetings and off-island meetings and travel by light aircraft or ferry.
• Capable of moderate lifting, setting up facilities, operating automobiles, and using electronic and sound equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
