Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and fellow team members, supporting selling initiatives and completing assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. The role requires flexibility with shifts, adherence to safety, and a proactive approach to both customer service and merchandising.

This position emphasizes timely attendance, ability to handle cash, assist customers, and maintain shop floor cleanliness.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Retail experience and/or farming knowledge strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value, Appreciate.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Perform plan-o-gram merchandising, assemble merchandise, and complete duties efficiently.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and assist customers with loading purchases.
• Operate forklift and baler where age-appropriate.
• Ensure a Legendary shopping experience and bird safety in poultry areas.
