Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers, support selling initiatives, and perform tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience. The role involves greeting customers, understanding needs, and offering product solutions while maintaining store standards.

Team Members must be flexible with shifts, handle cash, stock merchandise, assist customers, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the store environment. Prior retail or farming knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: No experience required; retail, farming, pet/equine or welding knowledge preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write and count accurately.
• Knowledge and skills: strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs to provide product solutions.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and complete merchandising tasks.
• Perform stocking, price changes, and basic janitorial duties.
• Maintain a Legendary Customer Experience and ensure bird safety and care where applicable.
